An important update for all of our Canadian friends and customers,

Canada Post Strike Update

The Canada Post strike is now on a rolling strike. We have re-enabled Canada Post as a shipping option, but please note that we anticipate that there will be delays that are outside of our control. In previous strikes, we have seen delays of up to 8 weeks for untracked letters.

We are offering standard letter mail, and Express/Priority through Canada Post. If you decide to go with Canada Post letter mail (no tracking), we highly recommend that you buy Route insurance as well. 

Chit Chats Shipping Service is Now Available

Chit Chats shipping service is now live at a flat rate of $7.99 to all major hub cities in Canada! To check if Chit Chats is offered in your postal code, reference the Chit Chats shipping calculator here. This is inclusive of tracking and insurance for up to $800 USD / $1115 CAD retail value. For any orders over this threshold, Route shipping protection is highly recommended.

Please note: Chit Chats does not have access to PO Boxes or apartment complex mail boxes as those are owned and operated by Canada Post. For apartment buildings, your orders will be left in the open access shipping rooms and foyers, much like Amazon. Chit Chats cannot access the inside of apartment buildings to leave orders at the door. It is your responsibility as the customer receiving the order to pay close attention to tracking information. For any and all concerns relating to Chit Chats delivery, please feel free to reach out to us or Chit Chats directly. 

Purolator Flat Rate Shipping

Purolator flat rate is also now available as a shipping option! We have three shipping zones in Canada with our latest updates. Western and Eastern Canada have flat rate Purolator options of $14.99 for Ground shipping, and $19.99 for Express shipping. The Maritimes have slightly increased Purolator rates of $19.99 for Ground shipping and $24.99 for Express shipping. All of these options from Purolator include tracking and $100 in default insurance.

Please note, for the time being we have also suspended shipping to Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories due to lack of available options. If these become available again, we will add them back to our availability.
