Store Return Policy

Champion City Games is a store built by players, for players. Our focus is on providing authentic, fairly graded, playable cards and sealed products for the gaming community.

Because of the nature of trading card games and their fluctuating markets, our return policies are designed to be clear, consistent, and fair to our customers.

Singles

Due to market fluctuations, we do not offer returns on TCG singles.

All singles are graded in-house using strict and consistent standards intended for players. Our grading reflects playable condition, not professional third-party slab grading.

A card listed as Near Mint (NM) will be in excellent playable condition, but Near Mint does not mean Gem Mint. Minor edge wear, light surface scuffs, small scratches, or slight printing imperfections may still fall within Near Mint grading and are considered normal.

If you are purchasing cards with the intention of submitting them to a third-party grading service, please understand that our grades are not guarantees of any specific grading outcome.

Condition concerns based solely on expectations of pristine, collector-grade or Gem Mint condition will not be grounds for refunds or compensation.

If there is a significant issue with the condition of your cards that falls outside of the stated grade, please contact us at championcitygames@gmail.com and we will be happy to review and help.

Sealed Products and Accessories

All sealed TCG product is final sale.

Before shipment, we verify that sealed items are new and factory sealed. Once an item has shipped, carrier handling and transit conditions are outside of our control. If you are concerned about damage or loss in transit, we strongly recommend purchasing Route Shipping Protection at checkout.

Small tears, scuffs, or separations in factory shrink wrap, and minor cosmetic imperfections in outer packaging that are not caused by external damage are completely normal and will not be grounds for compensation.

Sealed products are sold for opening and play. We do not guarantee pristine, display-grade packaging for collectors.

Non-TCG accessories may be returned if they are new and unopened within 30 days of delivery for a store credit refund. Champion City Games will cover return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

Return Process (Eligible Items Only)

To start a return, or for any return question, please contact us at championcitygames@gmail.com.

If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package will be provided. Items sent back without first requesting and receiving return approval will not be accepted.

Once the returned item(s) are received and their condition is verified by Champion City Games, the equivalent value of the item(s) will be issued to your account as store credit.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:

  • the item is defective due to a production issue,
  • you received the wrong item.

We will evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.

Refunds (Store Credit)

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your approved return and let you know if the refund has been approved.

If approved, the corresponding value will be issued to your account as store credit within 10 business days.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your store credit, please contact us at championcitygames@gmail.com.
